The training at Saphire blue was amazing.
The instructors, course material and ethos of the company cannot be faulted.
I would recommend that anyone intersted in acquiring their drone license or finding out more about the program should contact them.

I had pleasant journey with Saphire Blue. I can definitely recommend them to anyone considering doing their Remote Pilot License.
The theory part of the course took about a week to complete (including exams).
The practical training was led by an experienced Drone Pilot.
Practical training was done individually to accommodate different experience levels of pilots in training.
The Radio License is done separately – before SACAA sign out.
The SACAA sign out includes a practical drone flight and an oral exam.
It was a pleasure working with friendly and competent individuals at Saphire Blue.

Very professional and to the point...took me 3 months to do my VLOS from start to completion. Did not have any issues and the people were amazing, they want to build a relationship with their students and that can be appreciated. I highly recommend that if you want to get a drone license that you do your qualification through SB.

I attended the Saphire Blue VLOS drone course in 2023. The course was well-structured and professionally presented. The practical component was the best part, i.e. the skills training - learning to fly the drone. The instructors are super patient and well qualified to do the job! Exposure to a variety of teachers created diversity for the student. Overall, well worth the effort.
